Cat boy is a Latin American composer, multi-instrumentalist, producer, who is based out of Fort Collins Colorado. This music was crafted with peace, love, and happiness stuff. Cat plays every instrument and records everything to tape, then recreates it live using a combination of instruments, loops, and technology!
May 8: Roots + Rhythm
The gritty and soulful guitar and vocals of James Speiser and the sophisticated saxophone of Pattie Melt of the Roots & Rhythm band are playing blues, jazz, swing and New Orleans funk and soul originals and classics.
May 15: Pierce Murphy Trio
Pierce Murphy is a vocalist/guitarist from Denver with a distinct approach to jazz and soul. From penthouse clubs in Hiroshima, Japan to neighborhood bars in Paris, he’s made his way around the world performing for captivated audiences. The trio—his preferred format—fills out the classic vibe with acoustic upright bass and bebop drum kit. The sound calls to mind artists like Chet Baker, Bill Withers, and Amy Winehouse. Pierce performs original music in addition to jazz standards and reinterpreted pop and hip hop.
May 22: Something Vinyl Club
Something Vinyl Club is the first of its kind in Colorado, providing all vinyl disc jockeys through live music services. His entertainment option is original, engaging, and brings people together in a fun and interactive way. Passion and deep appreciation for music curation make it a one-of-a-kind performance.
May 29: DZIRAE GOLD
DZIRAE GOLD is a Denver-based Soul group fronted by DZIRAE GOLD herself. Their sound is deeply rooted in the rich tones of DZIRAE's voice. Her sultry vocals have been described as "smooth as liquid gold" and the band's sound can be best categorized as Pop-Jazz/Soul, which inspired the name "DZIRAE GOLD" - fresh, sexy, and timeless. While you'll love the sultry twist DZIRAE GOLD puts on many of your favorite pop songs, and her crooning rendition of some of the best vocal jazz classics, it's DZIRAE GOLD's deep and thoughtful original lyrics and passionate instrumentals that will surely stir your heart and mind.
