The Creator's Collective

Welcome to The Creator's Collective, where each month we highlight a local artist and several select pieces throughout our space to celebrate art, community, and creativity.

This month's artist is Connor Choi, a painter, muralist, and arts educator based in East Denver. Motivated by a passion for culture, identity, and representation, his mural work fuses Korean motifs with his traditional Western painting education. Often featuring local mountains painted in traditional Korean style, Choi's murals generate a sense of local pride paired with a distinctly Asian-American aesthetic.

Stop by this October to peruse several of his pieces throughout Poka Lola and to sip a specialty cocktail created in honor of his art.

Plus, we will be hosting an open house on Wednesday, October 28th from 5 - 8pm where you can sip featured cocktails, explore the art, and have the opportunity to meet the artist himself.
